Alison Baxter Marlow

Alison Marlow Reese has a deep passion for immersing herself in new cultures and venturing into unexplored territories. Growing up in Aspen, Colorado fostered in her a profound appreciation for nature and adventure. During her formative years she frequently visited indigenous communities with her family, even residing briefly with the Lacondone Maya in the jungles of Chiapas, Mexico.

At the age of 18, she helped organize and lead an expedition into a remote region of China, making the team the first Westerners to explore the area. Following this, she embarked on a six-week journey hitchhiking through Tibet and visiting the monasteries there. She later spent a semester in Nepal at the university, living with a local family. It is this journey that is captured in the images in this show.

Alison's career has been as diverse as her adventurous pursuits. She has excelled in various professions, including being a licensed massage therapist and working on the set of a popular TV show. She became a licensed commodities broker just before 9/11, where she was responsible for trading foreign currencies during the transition of Europe to the Euro. She also served as a licensed private investigator, pioneering a West Coast-based firm's expansion into the Miami, Florida market. Throughout her journey, she gained valuable experience in cybersecurity, film production, and commercial real estate. She then pursued a BS in Business from Boston University and an MBA in Global Business from Northeastern University.

Combining her interest in collaborating with diverse cultures and global teams with her passion for tackling complex business challenges, Alison found her passion in the data center industry. There she helps companies expand globally while maintaining a focus on sustainability.

Alison's life and career embody a remarkable fusion of exploration, diverse expertise, and a commitment to understanding and engaging with the world around her.
